SETO partners gathered in Ypres and Ghent from 2–4 July for a productive in-person Consortium Meeting, as part of the Horizon Europe-funded project on Smart Enforcement of Transport Operations.
With one year remaining in the project timeline, WP leaders presented updates on progress and next steps. Discussions focused on the final phase of implementation:
- Completing the testing of SETO technologies in the Living Labs
- Assessing economic, social and environmental impacts
- Developing the business case for the exploitation of developed solutions
- Drafting policy and research recommendations
During the first part of the meeting, activities were hosted by ZF-Transics, who welcomed the Consortium to their facilities and provided a glance on their daily work in the field of fleet management solutions. Participants also visited the Ghent Living Lab, where SETO technologies are currently being tested in a real-world multimodal setting (road and inland waterways).
