As part of SETO project’s dissemination efforts, in February Research Driven Solutions participated in the Workshop “The Future of the Built Bridges”, hosted by Luleå University of Technology. With 42 participants attending both in person and online, the event brought together different voices from stakeholders and research community members.
A highlight of the session was Eugene O Brien’s presentation, titled “Using Accelerometers on Trains to Monitor Track and Allow Heavier Wagon Weights.” His talk also explored the potential of instrumented road vehicles, sparking great interest and discussion on cross-modal monitoring innovations.
Events like these are essential for sharing our findings with those who can apply them in the real world, and in the SETO Project Consortium we are all keen to keep the momentum going.
